Communion
All are welcome to share in Communion as believers in Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior.
At the 8:30 a.m. service, members of the congregation meet at the front to receive communion by breaking off a piece of bread, dipping it in the cup, and partaking of it at that time.
At the 10:45 a.m. service, the ushers will pass the communion trays down the pews with members sharing the bread and the cup with their neighbor as they are passed along the pew.
Prayer
On the back of the bulletin are listed "The Prayers of the People". Prayer concerns are also written in a prayer book located just outside the worship service. These are incorporated into the Morning Prayer. Please feel free to list your prayer concerns and know that they will be addressed and carried to our prayer groups.
Children
Children are always welcomed into the worshiping community in the sanctuary. Child care providers are in the Children's Building for infants through two year olds. Two year olds through second grade are encouraged to join their parents for the early portion of the worship services. After the "Time for Children", 2-3 year-olds will be taken to Room 2 of the Children's Building, and 4 year-olds through second grade will be in Room 2 in the Children's Building for continued activities. Please pick them up from these rooms at the end of worship service. |
